Races
- Mutant (New Base Race): A new Base Race based loosely after Final Fantasy Legends game.
- Palico (Base Race): Added Cait Sith as an alternate racial heritage. Created by Dices Correr
- Ronso (Base Race): Added Yeti as an alternate racial heritage. Created by Dices Correr
Classes
- Archer (Core Class): Archery Talents: Marauder’s Step no longer requires the Dodge and Mobility feats, changed to just Archer 10, Shot on the Run feat. Positioning Shot talent removed.
- Astrologian (Base Class): Improved Enhancements reduced to 3/day instead of Wis/day.
- Bard (Core Class): No longer requires a songbook for their songs.
- Black Belt (Hybrid Class): Master’s Flurry edited to say it counts as Brawler’s Flurry.
- Cleric (Base Class): Improved Enhancements reduced to 3/day instead of Cha/day. Healer’s Blessing changed to now only affect single-target spells, Cure I through IV. Faith Healing changed to be taken twice, first for empowered on self, then second for maximise on self. Divine Spellcasting changed to a static +4 bonus and not provoking 3/day and name changed to Protected Casting.
- Druid (Hybrid Class): Improved Enhancements reduced to 3/day instead of Wis/day.
- Engineer (Base Class): Added the following engineer tricks: Improved Repair, Ranged Repair, Extra Repair, Maximize Repair, and Repairing Touch.
- Gambler (Base Class): The Gambler rework is now live! After months of effort, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our testers for their invaluable feedback and to MagnusXL for his incredible support in helping put everything together.
- Knight (Core Class): Knight Talents: Armored Sacrifice changed to a free action.
- Necromancer (Base Class): Added Life Link to necromancy talents.
- Paladin (Base Class): Divine Veil changed to the following: The paladin conjures a brilliant light that shields nearby allies. Allies within 30 feet, excluding the paladin herself, gain temporary hit points equal to 1d6 + an additional 1d6 per two paladin levels attained after 3rd (2d6 at 5th, 3d6 at 7th, and so on) and also gain an amount of DR/– equal to half of the paladin’s Charisma modifier (minimum 1). These benefits last for a number of rounds equal to the paladin’s Charisma modifier (minimum 1).
- White Mage (Core Class): Improved Enhancements reduced to 3/day instead of Wis/day.
Archetypes
- Biohacker (New Medic archetype): The biohacker is fascinated by science in all its many facets. He understands that the fundamentals of biology, chemistry, physics, and other disciplines can help him exploit his enemies’ weaknesses and bolster his allies. He might be studious and methodical about his research, pushing his mind to the limit in search of discovery, or he might be a daring experimenter, improvising concoctions and stumbling upon grand revelations. Either way, he uses his knowledge of several fields of scientific study to aid his allies, whether in the thick of battle or in crafting a perfect plan.
- Hexblade (Gambler archetype): This archetype has been reimagined and is now a Sword Saint archetype.
- Lady Luck (Gambler archetype): It has been removed from the system due to overlap and lack of distinction compared to other Gambler archetypes.
- Magitek Pilot (Chocobo Knight archetype): Added Pilot Tactics, Machinations, and Magitek Add-ons. – Suggested by Kayos.
- Naturalist (Druid Archetype): Growth of the Wild limited to 3+lv turrets per day, increased action to summon all turrets to a full-round action, acidic spore no longer adds a modifier to damage, Seed reformatted to an EX ability and now a ranged attack, Shriek changed to conform with other antagonize changes for 1 round and 1 per target, 7th advancements had ability bonuses reduced, some natural armor reductions too, no longer gains the NA bonus to saves. Turret Displacement now states the movement provokes AoO. Plant Growth reduced to lv+wis temp hp. Sporelings changed to ER and DR. Overall formatting and grammar changes to be more easily understood and read.
- Primal Mage (Blue Mage Archetype): Updated Digestion to have an example for how it works. Changed the natural attacks of Digestion to take 1 aspect per individual attack, rather than the attack type. Now replaces the Scan Master LB on Blue Mage for We Have The Meats. Indulgence lowered to 1 + 1 every other level. Their Gourmand’s Maw grab ability now allows for sizes comparable to their swallow whole.
- Sage (Astrologian Archetype): Improved Enhancements reduced to 3/day instead of Wis/day.
- Shadow Mage (Necromancer archetype): Changed the name to Shadow Monarch. Made changes to the Shadow Soldier ability, added Monarch’s Domain class feature, added Efficient Shadow Soldier as a talent, made a slight change to the Shadow Lord class feature. Shadow soldier’s arise is now a full-round action. Soldiers can no longer create undead, summon creatures, or teleport. Soldier revival time is now 1 minute, 1 turn for 2xMP. Soldiers cannot have boss-type subtypes. Efficient Shadow soldier talent is now 1/day. Greater shadow soldier talent was removed. Shadowstrike removed static damage and dimmed. Cloak of darkness no longer scales AC. Shadow Exchange now replaces secrets of the dead. Stealth mastery no longer grants signature skill. Shadow Well no longer allows stealth checks near “shadows”. Monarch’s domain now lists a duration of 1 minute.
Feats/Traits
- Feats: Skilled Flyer has been lowered to increasing fly speed by 5ft and one step to a max of good, while wearing light or no armor.
- Race Traits: Added the following race traits: Aegyl Opportunist for Aegyl. Unsated Hunger for Dracobalitan. Higher Peaks, Storyteller for Galka. Blank Slate, Vessel Crafter for Genome. Dragon Inspiration, Iron Ferocity for Gria. Underworld Visions for Guado. Wild Wool for Lambkin. Berry Synthesis for Mandragora. Shumi Heritage, Team Player for Moomba. Expert Assistant, Underfoot Paws for Palico. Unidentified Flying Technician for Pupu. Frog Catcher, Frog Fighter, Kitchen Warrior for Qu. Seaman’s Life for Roegadyn. Lab Rat Dog, Materia Circumstance for Seto Lion. Deep Grudge for Tonkin. Moonlit Sight, Werewolf Tenacity for Varg. – Suggested by Heliumbaby and Dices Correr. Note: I did not update the race trait table, because I was 90% finished when it crashed on me. I refuse to go back and redo it.
- Reserve Feats: The Fire Within wording changed to state it doesn’t gain damage from itself.
- Traits: Huntress of Siren changed into a religion trait.

- Astrologian spells: Added Bond of the Protector (5th).
- Illusionist spells: Added Zone of Truth (2nd). Added Dancing Light Storm (3rd).
- Necromancer spells: Added Scarify (1st) and Mass Scarify (5th).
- Paladin spells: Added Zone of Truth (1st).
- Summoner spells: Added Maze (8th). Added Dismissal (7th).
- Time Mage spells: Added Maze (8th). Added Slow Fall and Speed (1st). Added Slide (2nd). Added Alter Flow (3rd). Added Gravity Well (5th). Added Slidestream (6th). Added Direct Gravity and Out of Time (8th).
- White Mage spells: Added Dancing Light Storm (3rd). Added Bond of the Protector (5th).
- Bio (black mage 3, necromancer 3): Verbiage changed to inflict just the Sapped status effect. Bioga (black mage 7, necromancer 7): Removed verbiage mentioning damage.
Miscellaneous
- Status Effects: Sapped now causes the target to take non-elemental damage equal to the amount of its HD + its Constitution bonus each round. This damage cannot reduce the creature’s HP below 1.
