DESCRIPTION
Forming an image from a creature’s mind and experiences, you summon forth a spectral silhouette of a creature barring the resemblance in the creature’s mind. This silhouette acts as a partner for the selected willing creature, aiding them in morning routines, meditation, and exercises. If needed, it can affect the creature’s mind to think of it as a sparring partner. Only one partner can aid one creature, and once it has aided one creature for 1 routine it dissipates. If a partner is not required, the creature can choose to save against it, otherwise, they can decide to let it affect them.
The partner only affects the following instances:
Meditation: For spellcasters who meditate at the beginning of the day after a rest, to recover Magic Points, the creature only requires 15 minutes for meditating rather than 30.
Sword Saint: The battle tactics, weapon drills, and/or meditation in prayer undertaken by sword saints for their swordskills only takes 5 minutes instead of the usual 10 minutes.
SeeD Operative: Acting as an instructor, the partner speeds up the meditation process needed for sharing drawn spells around other SeeD Operatives to 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes. This can affect 2 creatures per casting instead of the usual 1.
Reading Books: The time it takes to read books is reduced, as the partner aids in reminding the user of his past readings. For the Blue Book, take only 30 minutes to read it rather than 1 hour. Adventurer’s chronicles, and similar 1d4 round books, take only 1d2 rounds instead of 1d4. A book of Puzzles reduces the maximum time from 1 hour to 55 minutes and increases the reduction of surpassing the intelligence check to 15 minutes instead of 10 for every 5 over the DC.
