You can partially dig your feet into the soil faster than you could before. You also retain more of your maneuverability when partially dug this way.

BENEFIT
You can use the Grow Roots feat as a swift action. You gain a +4 racial bonus to your CMD when resisting drag and reposition attempts made against you. While using Grow Roots, you only suffer a –2 penalty to your Dexterity. This effect may be dismissed as a free action.
