DESCRIPTION
The superhero takes care of someone close to him, a spouse/partner or ex-spouse/partner, a parent or guardian, a child, a sibling, a friend, etc. Any time someone discovers his identity, secret or not, they effectively know about his Dependent. When that happens, he or she will be threatened by some side-effect of his superheroic activities, including but not necessarily being directly attacked or kidnapped by a supervillain. The frequency with which his Dependent shows up in his life is based on his or her JP value. The superhero can have up to 4 Dependents in his life at varying levels.
- Level 1 (2 JP): His Dependent shows up on a roll of 3 or less on 1d20 during any given session.
- Level 2 (4 JP): His Dependent shows up on a roll of 6 or less on 1d20 during any given session.
- Level 3 (6 JP): His Dependent shows up on a roll of 9 or less on 1d20 during any given session.
- Level 4 (8 JP): His Dependent shows up on a roll of 12 or less on 1d20 during any given session.
