Starting at 2nd level, a dragoon gains one dragoon talent. He gains one additional dragoon talent for every 2 dragoon levels attained after 2nd. Unless otherwise noted, a dragoon cannot select an individual dragoon talent more than once.

You may further increase this area of effect by subtracting an additional two Deadly Lancer dice for every 5 feet gained. Additionally, creatures caught in its area of effect must make a Reflex save (DC: 10 + the original amount of Deadly Lancer dice) or be knocked prone. |
Cratered Arena (Ex) | Crater dragoon talent | When using your Crater talent, you may create a wall of debris 5 foot high around the perimeter of the affected area. This wall has an amount of hit points equal to 2 × your crater radius and hardness equal to your Constitution modifier. A Climb skill check (DC 15) allows a creature to climb over at the cost of expending 5 feet of movement speed. |

After traveling at least 10 feet as part of a long jump attack, you may choose to divert the Deadly Lancer bonus damage that would be inflicted as a 15 foot cone originating from that target, being oriented in the same direction as your attack. Targets within the area of effect take Deadly Lancer damage as slashing damage, with a Reflex save (DC: 10 + half your dragoon level + your Strength or Dexterity modifier) halving the damage. |
