Arcane GunnerArcane gunners are ranged warriors that specialize in crushing their foes with enchanted bullets. While not actually caster themselves, they are well versed in the Arcane and can borrow the magicks of allies, adding powerful spells to their bullets.
BuccaneerFreebooters who cling to the convoluted codes that rule independent ships, the buccaneer is a gunner of the high seas. Their exploits are fueled by the thrill of danger and often by the temporary courage provided by grog.
CowboyCowboys are the epitome of badassery. While most are busy fighting blade-to-blade and dying, cowboys are out there shooting evildoers dead on the spot and riding off into the sunset, ready to put the next desperado six feet in the ground.
Deadly SniperMost deadly snipers take pride in their formidable abilities, which allow them to take life quickly, quietly, and efficiently, then disappear into their surroundings without a trace. With their trusty firearm, deadly snipers ensures that a single shot disables their targets.
DesperadoThe ringing cracks of a desperado’s dual-wielded pistols can often sound like the worst storm of the year coming in. For small towns, overrun by bandits and the like, that’s never too far from the truth.
Experimental GunsmithThe experimental gunsmith is obsessed with creating the ultimate firearm, and is willing to take risks to work the kinks out of his design.
GunslingerGunslingers are thunderous artillery, often found where the fighting is fiercest. Brave, clever, and frequently foolhardy, many gunslingers push to position themselves at close range, barrels blazing, to take down their foes and demoralize their enemies. Other gunslingers are masters of distant death, picking off enemies from afar with their strange and wondrous weapons.
MachinistThe war with Dravania rages on, brutal and unrelenting. With no end in sight, the Holy See grows desperate. As her dragoons lay down their lives in defense of their home, Ishgard turns to technology to protect her sons and daughters. Great cannons and ballistae now line the city walls, plucking dragons from the sky. Following the example of Cid Garlond, who has demonstrated the potency of magitek, the Skysteel Manufactory works tirelessly on the development of advanced armaments. As new and devastating weapons are brought to the fray, a new class of champion arises to wield them―the machinist.
ManhunterA fugitive’s worst fear might be the sound of a door opening and the sight of a manhunter walking into the room, clad in armor and bearing arms at the ready. Manhunters are elite trackers and bounty hunters, always searching for a new target to bring in. Whether he takes his quarry in warm or cold is entirely up to his target; the manhunter is ready either way.
MarksmanThe marksman ensures that a single shot disables his targets.
OutlawOutlaws, brigands, and highwaymen hone their craft along the roadsides and byways of the world, where they leap from the shadows to plunder the spoils of passing travelers. Outlaws tend to have a variety of skills; sometimes these skills are similar to a thief’s, but a outlaw’s tactics always deal with surprise followed by intimidation, with the clear threat of naked force if intimidation does not do the trick. But not all outlaws are ruthless thugs. There are those who become outlaws in opposition to tyrants or similar oppressors. These outlaws target the status quo and distribute their spoils back into the needy hands of the peasantry.
RookFor those on the front lines of warfare, they have to choose one of two options; do they skirt and dodge and dive, outsmarting their foes with guile and agility? Or do they stand against the tide of foes, marching ever closer to them like an oncoming storm, bringing death and booming thunder in their wake? Rooks are gunners who choose the second path. To stand in the way of one, is to stand against the inevitable.
Shinra InfantryShinra Infantry are Shinra’s non-mako infused military/police force. Although not having as much of a reputation as SOLDIERs, the shinra infantry makes up the majority of Shinra’s military force, and is deployed far more often than SOLDIER. The shinra infantry keeps peace in Midgar, is deployed to handle events of public unrest and guards and operates many Shinra-owned facilities.
Space ForcePupuHailing from a mysterious land beyond the sky, PuPu who engage in combat often use equally mysterious energy-projecting devices which they can call out of thin air. Mystery or not, though, these “space blasters” fire deadly beams!
