A relic of a simpler time, barbarians express their rage in a cruder manner. Even if they are, well, barbaric, their archaic methods can still be effective.
The barbarian is an archetype of the berserker class.
Archetype Main Ability Scores:
The barbarian mainly focuses on STR and CON for combat, and CHA for one class feature.
Archetype Feature Replacements:
1st – Rage. 11th – Greater Rage. 20th – Mighty Rage.
Rage (Ex)
When raging, instead of gaining a bonus to melee attack rolls, melee damage rolls, thrown weapon damage rolls, and 2 temporary hit points per Hit Die, a barbarian gains a +4 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution. It otherwise functions as normal, including gaining a +2 bonus to Will saves and a -2 penalty to armor class.
This ability modifies rage.
Greater Rage (Ex)
At 11th level, when a barbarian enters rage, the morale bonus to his Strength and Constitution increases to +6 and the morale bonus on his Will saves increases to +3. While raging, he is immune to fear effects.
This ability modifies greater rage.
Mighty Rage (Ex)
At 20th level, when a barbarian enters rage, the morale bonus to his Strength and Constitution increases to +8 and the morale bonus on his Will saves increases to +4.
This ability modifies mighty rage.
