Battery caps look like a totem pole of 4 mouths topped with a purple cap mushroom, the main body of varying blue and teal hues. Each mouth houses razor sharp fangs. Standing a little over two feet tall, these fungi are normally easy to spot amongst other mushrooms in the area. – Imban

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Four Laser (Su)
Three times per day, a battery cap can fire three large balls of homing energy from its four mouths. These bolts unerringly strike a single target within 150′, dealing 3d4+3 non-elemental damage as per the spell ruin.
Seed Shot (Ex)
A battery cap is capable of firing well-aimed seeds as a standard action, dealing 1d8 bludgeoning and piercing damage, plus its Dexterity bonus, with a range increment of 100 feet. In addition, on a successful attack the target is blinded for 1d4 rounds unless they succeed on a DC 14 Fortitude save. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Treasure none
Tougher than their search crown brothers, battery caps are left alone by all but the toughest wildlife, as they are both resilient and capable of making quick work of any predators between their lasers and precisely-aimed seeds. Battery caps are usually found in groups of 4-6 battery caps, though occasionally they are known to tolerate the presence of other monster species such as the valron.
