Races
- Genome (Base Race): Added Weapon Familiarity as an Alternate Racial Trait.
- Mandragora (Base Race): Vulnerable to Fire now notes it imparts a -2 on saves versus fire effects, and give opponents +2 CL checks versus them.
- Palico (Base Race): Increased maximum age limit to a little above 50 from 33. Added an alternate racial heritage (Felyne).
- Shindroid (Base Race): Force Field now notes it imparts a -2 on saves versus lightning effects, and give opponents +2 CL checks versus them.
Classes
- Allagan Arcanimist (PrC): Converted into a summoner archetype.
- Archer (Core Class): Archer Handbook: Updated with FCB and Serpent Archer changes plus the additions of Tech Bow Specialist and Skirmisher archetypes. FCB for aim changed to just be attack bonus.
- Astrologian (Base Class); Draw’s Balance effect has had the critical text removed. Fateful Touch now grants your Prescience to an ally, to be used within the next minute.
- Bard (Core Class): Siren’s Song changed to bypass effects that would block sound.
- Berserker (Base Class): Rage Powers: Renewed Vitality changed into its PF variant. Close Wounds Rage Form’s Fast Healing reduced to 3/6/9 from 5/10/15. Close Wounds Rage Form’s temporary hit points granted from crit hits now stacks with rage. Successful attacks restore temporary hit points if the berserker has any left.
- Black Belt (Hybrid Class): Added Perfect Warrior (Capstone), Moved Improved Awesome Blow to 19 from 20, adjusted Archetypes. Master’s Flurry changed to just be close weapons and ones with the monk feature. Weapon Mastery changed into Close Weapon Mastery, now affecting weapons in the close group. Appropriate master techniques changed.
- Black Mage (Core Class): Changed Ultima Weapons LB into Spell Fury LB. Suggested by Spectre Deflector. Spell Fury altered to remove the spell penetration and lowered effect, now only combines with doublecast into triplecast.
- Celestial Knight (PrC): Converted into a holy knight archetype.
- Chemist (Base Class): Cursed bomb required level increased to 12. Discoveries reorganized to fit other talent table changes. Added a daily limit to the Bomb class feature (same as PF), and increased the damage scaling back to PF levels (1d6 every odd level). Added the Chain Reaction class feature gained at 10th level. Removed the Alchemical Diffusion class feature gained at 17th level. Removed Potent Bombs discovery. Added Mutating Reaction discovery. Alchemical Mixture now grants access to tier 2 at level 7, tier 3 at level 10, tier 4 at level 13. Bomb class feature changed to function as if bombs are thrown ammunition, allowing additional attacks with increased BAB, Haste, etc, but still does not allow usage of the Two-Weapon Fighting feat or Rapid Shot. Also cleaned some of the verbiage for clarity. Greater Bombard discovery removed. Bombard discovery changed to allow usage of the Rapid Shot and Two-Weapon Fighting feat chain with the Bomb class feature. Auto-Potion clarified to be Cure Potion, Hi-Potion, X-Potion, or Mega Potion.
- Chocobo Knight (Base Class): Master Feeder changed to increased duration of temporary food buffs.
- Dragoon (Core Class): Completely reworked, please see the class page as there are too many changes to list here. All archetypes have been updated for the Dragoon rework. The Dragoon Handbook (Acrobatic Assailant) has been updated with the Dragoon rework. By Rigby Shepard. The dragoon no longer suffers falling damage for the distance he jumps when using his Super Jump ability. Added Dragoon Archetype Alternate Class Feature table. Added verbiage for the Dragon Sight ability which states that it operates as if it were the true seeing spell when detecting invisible creatures.
- Druid (Hybrid Class): Added Domain Ascendancy as a choice between it and Enlarging Protectors. Created by Raitzeno
- Fallen Knight (PrC): Converted into a holy knight archetype.
- Fighter (Core Class): was renamed to Warrior, all archetypes updated. Added Warrior Archetype Table (at bottom of page).
- Gunbreaker (Hybrid Class): Removed Trained Shots gun arm mastery.
- Hardened Veteran (PrC): Deleted PrC.
- King (Prestige Class): Made the requirements more accessible to the Princess/Prince (Bard archetype).
- Monk (Core Class): Ki Powers: Altered wording of Ki Dodge so it doesn’t reference attacks missing and put in text stating it can be done after the result of a roll. Counterattack text edited, now states it is a free action to designate.
- Ninja (Hybrid Class): Faceless Shroud ki power is now a swift action to activate. Ki Powers: Altered wording of Ki Dodge so it doesn’t reference attacks missing and put in text stating it can be done after the result of a roll.
- Power Weapons Master (PrC): Added Superior Power Weapons Expertise (5th).
- Redeemed Knight (PrC): Converted into a dark knight archetype.
- Scholar (Hybrid Classes): Added example of their bonus MP.
- Summoner (Base Class): Avatars now have a base MP pool of 1 MP per summoner level, or 10 gil in the case of Yojimbo. Summon Talents: Avatar Magic updated to now stack with the base MP pool, reduced the rate of MP to gil for Yojimbo.
- Sword Saint (Hybrid Class): Deleted Superior SwordPlay advanced sword saint talent.
- Thief (Core Class): Added Phantom Presence as a thief talent. Changed wording on Mug. Thief Talents: Shadow Striker’s Confusing Strike now allows a will save to negate its effects. Masterful Strike now requires another selection for three asterisk talents to be used together. Table reorganised to have asterisk talents at the bottom similar to other talent tables.
- Weapon Collector (PrC): Converted into a warrior archetype.
Archetypes / Deific Orders
- Agent of Inquiry (Bard Archetype): Extraordinary Accidents turned into a talent. Inspiration renamed to Scrutinization.
- Apothecary (Chemist archetype): Deleted.
- Cat Burglar (Thief archetype): Deleted.
- Cerulean Lancer (Blue Mage Archetype): Updated to conform to the Dragoon rework.
- Charlatan (Medic archetype): Added Clear Mind ability.
- Crescent Warrior (Gunbreaker Archetype): Updated to conform to the Dragoon rework.
- Cruise Chaser (Cleric Deific Order): Updated to conform to the Dragoon rework.
- Dark Mage (New Black Mage archetype): Added.
- Darter (Ninja Archetype): More weapons than hands state they do not need prerequisites for the feats. Tosser Style moved to 1st and replaces ninjutus.
- Deadly Lancer (New Chocobo Knight archetype): Added.
- Demon Hunter (Fighter Archetype): Devil May Cry changed to Jackpot. Altered some wording for several abilities. Million Stab has text to say it doesn’t work with doubling attacks. Prop and Shredder goes against cmd+5. Added Demonic Encyclopedia to replace chosen knowledge.
- Dollmaker (Necromancer archetype): Reduced the number of times per day to summon Calcabrina to 3.
- Eldritch Raider (Thief archetype): Deleted.
- Elemental Dragoon (New Dragoon Archetype): Added.
- Foebreaker (Knight archetype): Received alot of new abilities, to fill out its role better.
- Gadgeteer (Engineer Archetype): The Restorer mode of the Give Upgrade 2 now can only be used for a number of rounds per day equal to level.
- Geologist (New Scholar archetype): Added.
- Keeper (Astrologian archetype): Deleted.
- Keeper of the Grove (Beastmaster archetype): Added Clear Mind ability.
- Ki Warrior (Monk archetype): Deleted.
- Muscle Mage (Black Mage archetype): Added Staff of Fury LB to replace Spell Fury LB.
- Mystic Knight (Red Mage Archetype): Magical Knowledge fixed scaling to every 4 after 3rd and not 1st.
- Naturalist (Mandragora Druid archetype): Added Turret Talents.
- Onion Knight (Knight archetype): Added Clear Mind as an onion knight talent.
- Pack-Bonded Hunter (Varg Beastmaster archetype): Has made several revisions and added new abilities.
- Plague Bringer (Chemist archetype): Deleted.
- Poledancer (Dancer Archetype): Updated to conform to the Dragoon rework.
- Princess (Bard archetype): Teamwork feat and Her Royal Command merged into 1 ability.
- Pyromancer (Black Mage Archetype): No longer has Burning Magic, regains Spell Proficiency.
- Reaper (Dark Knight archetype): Added a class feature to replace spellcasting. – Thanks to Dices Correr and Holy Rozenknight. Also changed Tempered Soul and Enhanced Avatar talents.
- Ruby Fist (New Red Mage archetype): Added.
- Saint (New Sword Saint archetype): Added.
- Seducer (New Dancer archetype): Added.
- Serpent Archer (Archer Archetype): Altered wording on several abilities. Added Poison Talents at 2nd. Snake Poison turned into Safe Poison talent. Added Snake Sack at 2nd. Rapid Serpent Arrow lowered to 1+1/5 levels. Bonus Bow Feat no longer needs requirements, and must be in light or no armor.
- Shadow (Ninja archetype): Added Added Surprise Spells to replace Certain Demise. – suggested by Laeis. Added Clear Mind ability.
- Shield Guardian (New Knight archetype): Added.
- Spiritmaster (Black Belt archetype): Deleted.
- Streak (New Moomba Monk archetype): Added.
- Superhero (Freelancer archetype): Added True Seeing to Unusual Vision power. Added Instinctive Reactions enhancement to Super Wisdom. Added Healing Aura enhancement to Healing Touch. Changed Unique Ability LB to grant JP equal to 5x half freelancer level instead. Added Shapechange as a superpower.
- Tamer (Beastmaster archetype): Overhauled the archetype, removed abilities, added new ones. Added optional beastmaster tricks.
- Technomancer (Engineer archetype): Added Clear Mind ability.
- Void Mage (New Black Mage archetype): Added.
- Votary (Astrologian archetype): Deleted.
- Warlock (Necromancer archetype): Added Bypass Element Protection ability.
- Warmech (Shindroid Engineer archetype): Improved Battle Armor now grants an untyped bonus rather than a magical enhancement bonus.
- Weapon Adept (New Monk archetype): Added. Created by Dice Correr.
- White Monk (Monk Archetype): Reduced BAB/HD, as appropriate. Added Clear Mind ability.
- Wild Mage (Black Mage archetype): Added some few new abilities.
- Winddancer (Dancer archetype): Added Bump and Grind ability.
- Wind Sorcerer (Lambkin Black Mage archetype): Moved Wind Ward to 4th from 5th.
Feats
- Class Feats: Added Extra Alchemical Mixture.
- Feats: Added a section for Item Mastery feats. Ported over Energy Mastery feat with help from Nyaa
- Teamwork Feats: Added Detonation Combo, Liquefaction Combo, Impaction Combo, and Fragmentation Combo to the list.
- Weapon Skill Feats: Added Double Thrust (Raiden Thrust, Leg Sweep, and Vorpal Thrust), Flaming Arrow (Piercing Arrow, Sidewinder, and Blast Arrow), Seraph Strike (Brainshaker, Moonlight, and Judgment), Shield Break (Smash Axe, Sturmwind, and Weapon Break), Sniper Shot (Detonator, Numbing Shot, and Coronach). All created by Tickle.
Spells
- Spells: Added Force descriptor to the following spells: Battering Blast, Bade Barrier, Forceful Strike, Instant Weapon, Mage Armor, Ruin, Ruinga, Ruinra, Shield, Shieldra, Summon Mage’s Robes.
- Astrologian Spells: Benefic I-IV have had their Temp HP duration reduced to 1 hour. Gravity Ball reduced range to close from medium, only requires one save on the caster’s turn for both damage and status. Some wording changes to read smoother. – Suggestions by Mir. Added Earthly Star (5th). – Created by pokemonPasta. Reverted Unravel Destiny to a hero point effect.
- Bard Songs: Magic Verse moved to 4th. Added Ballad of the Hero (2nd), Ballad of the Hero, Mass (4th).
- Black Mage Spells: Elemental Weapon now goes against normal AC instead of Touch. Boneshatter: Changed the description to deal damage to skeletal undead creatures if used against them.
- Druid Spells: Added Detect Poison (0) and Diagnose Disease (1st)

- Alchemical Items: Fixed pricing of Fantasia. Tier 4 items now all have dedicated pages. With some help from Dices Correr. Prism Powder now lasts 7 minutes. Added the following items: Decoy Scape (1st), Goliath Tonic (1st), Iron Draft (1st), Bacchus’s Cider (2nd), Goliath Tonic II (2nd), Lilith’s Kiss (2nd), Moon Curtain (2nd), Sahagin Gill (2nd), Sheep Pillow (2nd), Stardust (2nd), Turtle Shell (2nd), Vampire’s Kiss (2nd), Goliath Tonic III (3rd), Devil’s Sigh (4th), Hermes’ Shoes (4th), Shining Curtain (4th). Chocobo Wing – Duration increased to 11 rounds. Mega Potion changed to 15th CL and increased price to 6,000. Megalixir increased to 34,000 due to adjustment. Giant’s Tonic, Faerie Tonic, and Strength Tonic all changed into “drinks”. - Ammunition (Arrows): Added some price calculations for example single arrows and alternatives to alchemical silver arrows.
- Chocobo Food: Chocobos from animal companion and chocobo mount (or similar) class features are excluded from benefitting from permanent food buffs.
- Gun Arms: Decided not to go the full trigger attack route, but lower damage and crit range of most gun arms.
- Magical Weapons: Added Kinslayer (+1 both), Negating (+2 melee).
- Materia: Materia system has been temporarily revamped as a holdover until we implement the rework. There are several changes, but the main takeaway is that MXP has been removed, with materia being upgraded via the Craft Materia feat, similar to how wondrous items work. MP Materia and HP Materia wording altered to state enhancement bonus.
- Miscellaneous Items: Fixed price of the Malboro Cigarettes from 1200 to 2250. Pack price changed accordingly. Moved items to the slotless page of Wondrous Items. Such as the sleeping bags and Malboro Cigarettes.
- Rings: Dark Ring, Earth Ring, Fire Ring, Holy Ring, Ice Ring, Lightning Ring, Water Ring and Wind Ring price increased to 8,000 gil (was 4,000 gil).
- Weapons: Added Thief Sword. Updated weapon groups. Knight Sword has text stating it is treated as a bastard sword for the purposes of proficiency and abilities.
- Wondrous Items: Added the follow items: Glamour Prism, Strategy Guide, Zephyr Cape – All three created by Rigby Shepard. Copper Armlet, Silver Armlet, Gold Armlet, Rune Armlet, Mythril Armlet, Gold Hairpin have all gained their own pages and have had prices altered, defined as enhancement bonuses, as well as their MP recovering each morning. Bronze Bangle, Iron Bangle, Crystal Bangle, Titanium Bangle, Platinum Bangle have all gained their own pages and have had prices altered, defined as enhancement bonuses. Doc’s Hat changed to link to the Auto-Potion chemist ability, and text edited to state Cure Potion, Hi-Potion, X-Potion, or Mega Potion. Armlets and bangles have had their price scaling adjusted; they now have much lower prices across the board than the update that happened yesterday.
Miscellaneous
- Berserk (Status Effect): Updated verbiage to specify that, while under this effect, unarmed strikes do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
- Hero Points (Optional Systems): Updated page to include the spells and songs that interact with the system.
- Iconics: Lilisette, Zell, and Agrias updated with the name changes. From [Admin]~Luph~: Updated some iconics: Agrias, Allisae, Bartz, Basche, and Edward. Expect a few more tomorrow. Also let me know If I missed something.
- Optional Systems: Added a subsection for mini-games and moved Blitz Bowl and Blitzball there.
- New Mini-game System: Blitz Bowl (managed to fleshed out 12 teams.) – With the help of Holy Rozenknight and several other people’s suggestions. Added 2P, Angantyr, Ba’Gamnan, Brayflox Alltalks, Cibleroit, Eurytos, Fran, Freya Crescent, Gippal, Hoplomachus, Jovy, Kaim Argonar, Kelger Vlondett, Kimahri, Krile Baldesion, Lycopodium, Meowscular Chef, Nehd Sorn Gahr, Nerrick, Pug, Quina Quen, Seymour, Steelbiter Gudrud, Tesleen, Trachraet, Wakka, Y’shtola Rhul, Yugiri Mistwalker, Zenos Galvus, and Zidane Tribal to the list of available Star Players.
